Policies

  • Our one room cottage is comfortable for two adults, one child, and two small dogs, a rule imposed by local ordinance. If our place isn’t right for you, we will suggest alternatives.
  • Rates do not include state and local occupancy taxes currently at 9.7%.
  • For special events and holidays we may charge an additional $15 per night.
  • Two and three night minimums apply to holidays, events and weekends. For one or two night reservations, a cleaning fee of $25 will apply.
  • If you express an interest in our cottage, we will put a 48 hour hold on the requested dates after we respond to your inquiry.  If there is no response, we will release the hold.
  • Unless other arrangements are made, your reservation will not be secured until we receive a deposit for the first night of your stay.  If your deposit isn’t paid within what we see as a reasonable time, we reserve the right to rent to someone else, without notice, if necessary.
  • If you reserve more than 45 days in advance, please send the deposit one month prior to arrival, unless other arrangements have been made.
  • Payment may be made by check or cash. Checks should be sent to PO Box 128, Seaview, WA 98644.  To reduce expenses, we do not accept credit cards or PayPal.
  • Cancellation: There is no fee for cancellations made at least 14 days in advance. With shorter notice, we will refund your deposit if we rent the cottage.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome for $15 per night per dog.  Plastic bags are provided for waste. Due to feline allergic reactions, no cats, please.
  • Unless other arrangements are made with us, dogs may not be left unattended in the cottage, unless crated.
  • We are smoke free and appreciate your consideration by respecting this policy. In particular, smoking is restricted to a minimum of 20 feet from any building on our property.
  • We offer parking for one vehicle.
  • Check-in/Check-out times: You may check in after 4 PM. Please check out by 11 AM. With advance notice, we will attempt to accommodate early check-in or late check-out.
  • We do not have the facility for cleaning clams. We can recommend a local cannery, which does a great job at a reasonable price.
  • While never required, we reserve the right to refuse service, if deemed necessary.
  • By placing a reservation with us, you are agreeing with the above stated policies.
  • Note: If you stayed with us last year, our rates for last year will apply, if lower.
  • Note: Reservations placed before May 31 will be at the rate for last year, if lower.
